Our Commitment
Fluid is a web-based software application that provides a range of features to help businesses manage their projects, work, finances and resources. We are committed to ensuring that our application is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
Compliance with Accessibility Standards
While Fluid has not been officially reviewed for WCAG compliance, we have built the application using HTML5 and a responsive design to ensure that it is accessible on a range of devices and platforms.
Accessibility Features
Fluid provides a range of accessibility features, including:
Keyboard Navigation: The application can be navigated using only a keyboard, with all features accessible through keyboard shortcuts.
Screen Reader Compatibility: Fluid is endeavours to be compatible with popular screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA, and includes appropriate ARIA tags to help guide users through the interface.
Font Resizing and Scaling Support: Fluid allows users to adjust the size of the font used in the application to make it easier to read.
Adjustable Colour Contrast: Fluid includes a range of colour schemes, including high-contrast options, to make the interface more accessible to users with visual impairments.
Accessibility Review in SDLC
Fluid uses accessibility review tools as part of our standard software development life cycle (SDLC) to ensure that new features are accessible to all users. Our developers and testers use automated and manual accessibility testing tools to identify and address any accessibility issues before a new feature is released to production.
Known Accessibility Issues
Due to the complex nature of some of the features in Fluid, such as financials and resourcing, we are aware that there may be some areas of the application that are difficult to ensure are fully accessible. We are actively working to address these issues, and we welcome feedback from users on how we can improve the accessibility of the application.
